The DoDEA Student Information System (DSIS) Family Portal will be unavailable from Wednesday, June 25 at 2:00 pm ET until Thursday, July 10 at 2:00 pm ET. Parents and students will not be able to access the system or register students during this time. Registration will resume when the system is reopened on July 10.

Dear Parents and Guardians, Welcome! Below you will find the official School Supply List for the school year. We appreciate your support in helping our students start the year prepared and ready to succeed. Thank you for being a valued part of our school community!

E. J. King MHS Supply List

6th - 8th Grade

  • Backpack/book bag big enough to fit a 2-3” binder and a Chrome Book. No wheels.
  • 1 package pens (blue/black)
  • 2 packages of pre-sharpened No. 2 pencils (24 count)
  • 2 rubber erasers□1 package of highlighters
  • 1 package of colored pencils
  • 1 package of colored markers□4-6 glue sticks
  • 1 ruler (12”) (please ensure ruler has inches indicated on it)
  • 1 pair of school scissors
  • 1 pair personal headphones (no Bluetooth headphones; plug in)
  • 1 reusable water bottle
  • 2 boxes of tissues
  • Zipper pouch to store supplies (can be inserted into binder or standalone) package(s) of Loose-Left paper ** (quantity varies)
  • pocket folder with 3 hole punch
  • Good quality binder (2”, 2 1/2" or 3”, 3 ring binder)
  • 7 colored tab subject dividers to separate classes

** The requested number of supplies may vary depending on your child’s schedule. Teachers may have specific requirements for their classroom. It is recommended that prior to buying supplies that vary in quantity, that teachers discuss their individual classroom requirements with students.**

Optional:
  • Personal size packet(s) of tissues
  • 1 personal size bottle of hand sanitizer
  • White out
  • Other color pens for correcting and editing projects
Notes:
  1. Supplies may need to be replenishment as the school year progresses.
  2. Please save your receipts, as all teachers may not require every item.
  3. All students are required to wear athletic pants/shorts (no jeans) and gym shoes during PE class.
  4. All students are required to wear closed-toed shoes for science labs.
  5. Any lunch or snacks your child brings to school should not be shared.

9th - 12th Grade
